[btw, great show last friday night: symphony x is great and russell allen (singer) is absolutely great.
DT is one of the best live band I've ever seen. I can't remember the setlist (I never can), but it was legen..wait for it...dary! (what am I quoting? I really hope you know!) and it was my 8th time... it's like visiting relatives! :D]

Back from 2 days of pretty hard working.
This internship is pretty cool but also intense and tiring.
Yesterday evening we recorded the Accademy of St. Martin in The Fields for National Radio (radio3). Very good stuff!

and today we started preparating a cd recording for 2 pianos. The recordings will start this afternoon but I won't go 'cos I have the tickets for Symphony X + Dream Theater!!! Pretty cool, uh? It's going to be like the 6th or 7th time I see DT live, but it's always great!!!
YAY!

Bill, what about something really good? I know you can do it. Come on.

Here's the problem. Windows is not working anymore. Why? Who knows.
I turned off my pc last monday evening, I tried to turn it on the morning after, and all I got was that bloody blue loading bar. Going on and on and on.
Thank God I installed ubuntu* too! Freeware is awesome. AWESOME. You can get whatever you want, for free, and you can't even think you are risking to go to prison!!

There's a light at the end of the tunnel

No I'm not dying. And I'm not in a coma either. If you were wondering.
It's just that I'm starting my internship. Tomorrow. With this sound engineer guy who works with huge orchestras.
I'm frightened but also pretty excited.
After all these years of studying and being broke, I'm starting my new life.
I'm being broke anyway, 'cos in this internship I will earn 0 euros, but at least I'll do something that I really like.

It's freaking cold here in Rome. Strange weather.

It's been like 2 months now that I started drinking coffee regularly.
But I'm not talking about italian coffee or espresso or whatever you call it.
I started drinking that black dishwater the anglosaxons use to love so much.
Why don't I drink espresso? I don't know, it seems completely useless to me.
The black dishwater warms me up in the morning and it sorta also wakes me up.

Oh yeah, I'm italian and I don't drink espresso. Whatever. Shame on me!

just got back from an interview with a sound engineer here in rome, 'cos I'd like to work in this world.
I could start my internship next thursday (knock on wood).
it would be awesome! this guy works with raitrade for engineering and recording classical and/or jazz music.
I'm pretty excited!!
